Prismtone Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 4, 2025

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") applies to the Prismtone mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application" or "Service"), created by Illia Cherednychenko (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our").

We value your privacy. This Policy explains what anonymous and general information we may collect and how we use it—solely to ensure the Application functions, fix errors, and improve the user experience.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

We adhere to the principle of data minimization. We do not collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location.

Data collection is limited only to what is necessary for the Service to function:

1.1. Performance and Diagnostics Data (Anonymous)

We may collect anonymous information to identify and resolve technical issues (errors) and to understand how our Application is used. This includes:
  • Crash Logs and Diagnostics: (e.g., performanceLog). Information about Application crashes and performance.
  • Application Interactions: Anonymous data about which features are used, to improve the Service.
  • Device Identifiers: Anonymous identifiers (not tied to your identity) to count unique users and associate crash reports with them.

This data helps us fix bugs and make the Application better.

1.2. Information on Purchases and Subscriptions

If you make a purchase or subscribe within the Application (e.g., via Google Pay), we do not receive your credit card details or banking information.

We only receive confirmation from Google (e.g., a "receipt" or "purchase history") to activate the features you purchased (such as disabling ads or energy) and to fulfill our legal accounting obligations.

1.3. Audio Data (Local Only)

The Application is a tool for working with sound (audioComponent). To perform its functions, the Application may request access to your audio files.

Important: Audio files that you create or open in the Application are processed exclusively locally on your device. These files are never transmitted to our servers; we do not have access to them and do not listen to them.

1.4. General Location Information (Anonymous)

We do not track your precise GPS location. We may receive general location information (e.g., based on IP address) for general analytics (e.g., "in which country is the app being used") and for security purposes. This data is anonymous.

1.5. Data for Serving Ads (Anonymous)

Our Application may display advertising, including rewarded ads (e.g., to refill "energy"). This advertising may be disabled with an active subscription.

To display these ads, we and our advertising partners (e.g., Google AdMob) may collect anonymous identifiers from your device (e.g., Google Advertising ID).

Important for "0+" Audience: We strive to ensure that advertising is safe for all audiences. We do not use this data to create a profile or show personalized ads to users we identify as children. In such cases, we request only contextual (non-personalized) advertising from ad networks.

2. Data Transfer to Third Parties

We do not sell or transfer your personal information.

We may use third-party service providers to facilitate our Service. This includes:

  • Google Firebase (for analytics and crash reports),
  • Google Pay (for processing payments and subscriptions),
  • Advertising Networks (e.g., Google AdMob, for serving ads).

These third parties have access to your anonymous data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

3. Children's Privacy (For Parents)

Our Service is intended for a general audience and can be used by children (0+).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country) without parental consent.

As we have minimized data collection and it is primarily anonymous and technical (as described in Section 1), we believe our Service is safe. We take measures to disable personalized advertising for child audiences (see Section 1.5).

If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data (which is unlikely), please contact us.

4. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. Most of your data (including all audio) remains locally on your device. Data that is transmitted (e.g., crash reports or ad IDs) uses standard security protocols.

However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. "AS IS" Provision

Our Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of third-party sites.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy on this page.

It is recommended to review this Policy periodically for any changes.
